Sie unterst\u00fctzen den Pflegebed\u00fcrftigen bei der Bew\u00e4ltigung seines Alltags, indem unter anderem Hilfe bei der K\u00f6rperpflege, beim Ankleiden und der Essensaufnahme geleistet wird. Therapeutisch-medizinische Ma\u00dfnahmen wie das Durchf\u00fchren von Sp\u00fclungen, die Wundversorgung oder Verabreichung von Medikamente nach \u00e4rztlicher Anordnung z\u00e4hlen in der Behandlungspflege zu den Aufgaben des Altenpflegers.<\/p>\n<p>Des Weiteren geh\u00f6rt die psychosoziale Betreuung \u00e4lterer Menschen zu ihrem T\u00e4tigkeitsfeld. Sie bieten Beratungsgespr\u00e4che an, f\u00f6rdern die Kommunikation und zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen, um einer Vereinsamung der Hilfsbed\u00fcrftigen entgegenzuwirken. Vorausgesetzt wird die Mittlere Reife oder ein gleichwertiger Bildungsabschluss sowie ein \u00e4rztliches Attest \u00fcber die gesundheitlichen Eignung. Der praktische Teil der Ausbildung wird in der Regel in station\u00e4ren Einrichtungen oder bei ambulanten Pflegediensten absolviert. Zu den vorrangigen Arbeitsorten geh\u00f6ren Pflegeheime, Kurzzeitpflegeeinrichtungen sowie Einrichtungen des Betreuten Wohnens und ambulante Pflegedienste. Eine Besch\u00e4ftigung in Rehabilitationskliniken und bestimmten Abteilungen von Krankenh\u00e4usern ist auch m\u00f6glich.
