W\u00e4hrend, durch die Corona Pandemie, viele Menschen in verschiedenen Wirtschaftsbereichen ihre Arbeitspl\u00e4tze verloren haben, mangelt es dem Gesundheitssystem an Pflegepersonal. Laut dem International Council of Nurses (ICN)<\/a> fehlt es an sechs Millionen Berufst\u00e4tigen in der Pflege<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Dementsprechend fordert der ICN die Regierungen auf, sogenannte HERO-Fonds<\/strong> (\u201eFonds for health, education and retraining opportunity\u201c) einzurichten, um in das Gesundheitssystem zu investieren. Dadurch soll, mithilfe von Mitteln und Ressourcen der Regierung, das Gesundheitswesen gest\u00e4rkt werden, sowie neue Perspektiven f\u00fcr diejenigen geschaffen werden, die durch die Pandemie ihre Arbeitspl\u00e4tze verloren haben. Vor allem Ein- und Umstiege in die Pflegebranche sollen hierdurch gef\u00f6rdert werden.<\/p>\n

Der Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer des ICN Howard Catton betonte, wie wichtig es sei, dass die Regierungen die Gesundheit in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Konjunkturpl\u00e4ne stellen:<\/p>\n<\/div>

\u201eDie Pandemie hat uns gezeigt, dass Gesundheitsausgaben keine Kosten, sondern Investitionen sind, die nach der Pandemie auch das Wirtschaftswachstum beschleunigen werden.\u201c<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/blockquote>

Demnach w\u00fcrden, sowohl das Gesundheitswesen als auch das Wirtschaftswachstum von den HERO-Fonds profitieren.<\/p>\n

Christel Bienstein, Pr\u00e4sident des Deutschen Berufsverband f\u00fcr Pflegeberufe (DBfK)<\/a> bef\u00fcrwortet die Anforderungen des ICN und \u00e4u\u00dferte sich wie folgt:<\/p>\n<\/div>

\u201ePflege kann nicht jede bzw. jeder.\u201c (\u2026) \u201eIn Deutschland gibt es Umschulungsangebote \u00fcber die Bundesagentur f\u00fcr Arbeit. Diese k\u00f6nnten \u00fcber einen solchen Fond ausgebaut werden. Die Ausbildungseinrichtungen m\u00fcssen in die Auswahl der Umsch\u00fclerinnen und -sch\u00fcler einbezogen werden und die Finanzierung der dreij\u00e4hrigen Ausbildung sollte sichergestellt sein. Was wir brauchen, sind gut ausgebildete Pflegefachpersonen, die den Beruf aus Interesse an professioneller Pflege ergreifen wollen, nicht nur aus einer Not heraus. Deshalb ist uns die Forderung von ICN nach strukturierten Investitionen in die Ausbildung und Umschulung unter dem Gesichtspunkt der h\u00f6chsten Qualit\u00e4tsstandards so wichtig.\u201c<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/blockquote>
